Erin Ellis was born and raised in York, Maine. She spent most of her childhood drawing mermaids and princesses without noses. When the time came she gathered her things and moved from Old York to New York. There she attended the Pratt Institute and received a BFA in Illustration. She currently resides in Portland, Maine where she spends her time drawing paper dolls and sewing strange animal things.

Erin enjoys action figures, chocolate, Star Wars, and sleeping in on the weekends. She dislikes spiders, cheese, and roller coasters.
